How to find us

Arriving by car

From Cologne (Köln) take highway A4, from Düsseldorf take A44. At the "Aachener Kreuz" take A4 towards Antwerpen/Heerlen. Leave the highway at exit "Aachen-Laurensberg" (last exit before the border with the Netherlands). Directly after the exit turn right towards Aachen. After about 1 km follow the highway to the right (follow signs "Uniklinik" with a red cross). On the highway towards Aachen stay in the right lane and bear to the right following the signs to the "Uniklinik" (about 2 km after the intersection and through a tunnel) until you are guided on the top of a bridge ("Valkenburger Str."). Stay right and make almost a U-turn following the signs "RWTH-Melaten" or "MTZ". After about 100 m there are parking lots on the left, enter one with the sign "Chemie" (fourth). The institute is across the parking lots and across the street.

Arriving by train

From the station "Aachen Hauptbahnhof" (main station) you have to cross the square in front of the station. Across the street there is a bus stop. Take the bus line 3B to the direction of "Uniklinik". You have to get off at the bus stop "Uniklinik".  Facing the "Uniklinik" (factory-like hospital) turn to the right and walk for about 200 m following the street. And then turn left to the building "Sammelbau Chemie". Another possibility is take the train from the station "Aachen Hauptbahnhof" (main station) to the station "Aachen West". On the left from the station's exit you will find the bus stop. Take the bus line 33 or 3A to the direction of "Uniklinik" or "Vaals (NL)" and get off at the bus stop "Wendlingweg" . It's directly in front of the institute. Ask for the "Sammelbau Chemie".
